Brought up on the world renowned Spanish island of Ibiza and influenced through his formative years by visiting house icons, Sebastian Gamboa started to develop his professional career in 1990.Through high profile performances at Pacha, Privilege, Amnesia, and Space he rapidly rose to a position of reverence as a pioneer of the Spanish house scene, and of course, one of the authentic figures of Ibiza’ s legendary nightlife. From 2002 Sebastian was the resident at the hugely successful party “Balearic People”. In 2006 he commenced a monthly residency at Pacha Ibiza working with Def Mix on Saturday nights, playing weekly alongside Frankie Knuckles and David Morales, this developed into his own weekly residency the following year with his increasingly acclaimed Pacha Classics party every Sunday.

Sebastian can be considered somewhat of a musical maestro, having released 12 records and 9 compilations, including “La Vida” in 2006, his collaboration with David Penn on Purple Music. More recently, Sebastian has released the incredible solo project “Muevelo” which has been nominated by Deejay Mags Awards as Record of Year for 2008.

This accolade follows a series of nominations and awards, including winning the awards for best Ibiza DJ at The DJ Awards. Now an international artist, Sebastian spends his winters travelling to the most exotic corners of Asia, Europe, Africa and South America showcasing his discerning brand of House music in some of the world..s finest and most influential clubs.

His style can be clearly described as Pure House Music, though he adopts many influences in his sessions and productions, in which his main aim is to deliver quality to the dancefloor whilst remaining true to his Balearic roots.

This impeccably presented purist has become a seminal figure in Ibiza and remains to this day one of the island..s most respected house DJ’s.
